Fr. Tomasz Mamelka
Fr. Tomasz was born in SZCZECIN (north-west of Poland) and was ordained on 26th May 2001 for the Szczecin-Kamien diocese (Poland).
Having completed an MA in Theology (2001) his bishop requested he continue his studies at the Catholic University of Lublin (Poland) where he graduated with an MA in Classical Philosophy (2009) followed by a PhD in the field of Classical Philosophy (2016). Research for his Doctoral thesis focused on the reason for and the consequences of the elimination of the human soul within the anthropology of the Descartes, John Locke, and David Hume - A study of the metaphysics of man.

Fr Tomasz joined St Hugh and St John’s parish in September 2019.

His hobbies: Cycling, snowboarding, trips, and probably much more…
He enjoys: Books, good music, cooking, technology and single malt…
